Today we issued an addendum to our earlier response to the Ticket Office Closures Consultation. Because Northern have understated the existing opening hours at Alnmouth and Morpeth, it makes it look as if their proposed reduction in staffing hours per week is just 1.63% for Alnmouth, or 10.86% at Morpeth. The true figures are 37.96% at Alnmouth, or 46.34% at Morpeth. The addendum to our response is here, and the original response issued on 22nd July 2023 is here.
