Thanks to SENRUG volunteers who staffed our stand at the Aln Valley Railway Model Railway Exhibition tis weekend. Good to see our friends at AVR making solid progress on extending the heritage line to Alnmouth station. Has Northern, or indeed anyone, thought about the additional passengers that might bring on the national rail network to Alnmouth, once it is the terminal for steam trains to Lionheart/ Time to progress on without delay for our campaign for an hourly each way local service on the East Coast Main Line between Newcastle and Berwick with Belford and Beal re-opened, and of course serving Alnmouth.
