Excellent talk from Jason Wade tonight, the new (ish) Regional Director for Northern, at Railfuture’s meeting in Newcastle. Lots of exciting things happening, Morpeth – Bedlington looks positive, and an update on new Northern train fleets. Jason was willing to engage constructively with questions, comments and ideas. We definitely hope to invite him to a SENRUG Meeting in the New Year, after the Northumberland Line has opened – a topic which itself of course provoked much discussion and excitement.
