Newsham station opened today, but I missed it as I was away for the weekend. I did however pre-record a brief interview with Radio Newcastle to air this morning. But the new guys at the BBC no longer get back to you to confirm whether the clip is used and if so what time it will be broadcast, so I’m in the dark on that. However, I hear the opening was a great success. We keenly await dates for the remaining stations.
