Excellent turnout for our public meeting with speaker Walt Cartwright from DB Cargo, who gave us a very informative overview of the UK rail freight industry. I was also pleased that a good number of our members stayed on for the AGM. This year, we had a good and diverse range of constructive comments on our policies and challenges, and the existing committee and officers were re-elected unopposed. I am therefore privileged to continue to serve as your Chair for a further year.
