SENRUG Committee volunteers reported that TPE had busses replacing trains today, with coaches travelling up and down Coppies Lane. What we’re not clear about is how any TPE passengers waiting on the platform (particularly if bound for Edinburgh) would have known, given the station CIS never works, and there seemed to be no staff on the platform. If any reader was travelling on a TPE train from Morpeth today, please contact us and let us know how things worked out.
