Meeting with Northumberland County Council today in which they briefed me on where they are up to with Network Rail; the next steps and how the new North East Combined Authority will add value to the process. Progress is being made but it is agonisingly slow. Hopefully, there will be an announcement from the County Council in a few weeks time.
