Today myself and Trevor Watson attended a VTEC Stakeholder Briefing in York. Lots of exciting plans, and VTEC want to extend more trains on to Edinburgh. Which created an opportunity for me to point out to MD David Horne that VTEC had never replied to our request for more of their services to stop at Morpeth, which contrasts sharply with competing open access bids, one of which has clearly communicated plans for Morpeth to SENRUG. Action was promised.
