Today I met Mike Paterson, the new North East Regional Director for Northern Railway, who took over the franchise from the 1st April 2016. A useful meeting, in which I ran through all our campaigns relating to Northern Railway, in particular what could be done in the short term, and the need for Morpeth Station ticket office opening hours to be extended.
