Today SENRUG finally issued its response to the DfT Cross Country Re-Franchise proposals. This is a long, complex document which took several attempts of drafting and re-drafting. Key issue is that SENRUG strongly opposes the suggestion of cutting Cross Country trains at smaller stations such as Morpeth, Alnmouth and Berwick.
