LUMO – the name of the new open access operator from FirstGroup, was officially unveiled today, with tickets going on sale for trains from their launch day on 25th October. LUMO will start with 2 trains each way per day ramping up to 5 over the coming weeks. From Morpeth, there will be trains to London at 10:30 and 17:26 with returns from Kings Cross at 10:45 and 14:36. Trains from Morpeth to Edinburgh will leave at 14:01 and 18:03 with returns at 09:11 and 16:12. Don’t forget Matthew Lee from LUMO will be speaking at SENRUG’s public meeting on 12th October 2021.
