Tonight was our Public Meeting tonight with Matthew Lee, Customer Experience & Commercial Director at
LUMO, the new train operator who will be launching their service through Morpeth from 25th of this month. we had a great turn-out with a good range of interesting questions afterwards. It was really good to be able to hold an in-person meeting at Morpeth Town Hall once again. I was also able to catch up with Matthew for a brief meeting earlier in the day, along with a telephone catch up with Graham Meiklejohn of TransPennine Express, whose new semi-fast service between Newcastle and Edinburgh, providing much needed connectivity between Morpeth, Alnmouth & Berwick, is starting in December.
