An excellent catch-up today with LNER, via Teams. We’re not seeing eye to eye on everything, in particular SENRUG and LNER still have some differing aspirations for the new ECML timetable, but it’s constructive to talk issues through honestly and better understand each other’s position. Our discussion also covered a range of other issues where I believe LNER found our feedback and observations most useful. Mention should also be made of LNER’s excellent Stakeholder Seminar the previous week – rare to see a hybrid event with some attending in person and others like myself online working so well.
