ABT Re-opening (The Northumberland Line): Key Milestone Achieved.

I was delighted to hear late last night that the Transport and Works Act Order has been approved by the Secretary of State, following the 4 week public enquiry last November. Now construction work can start in earnest, though the final funding announcement is still awaited. Additionally, I was particularly pleased to note the Northumberland County Council Press Release continues to confirms December 2023 as expected opening date. Check out SENRUG’s campaign page here.
