Overwhelmed to get a text today advising me that at Railfuture’s AGM in Bristol, the winners of Railfuture’s Rail User Group awards was announced, with SENRUG awarded (i) Joint Gold for Best Newsletter, (ii) Joint Silver for Best Website and (iii) Joint Silver for Best Campaign. Additionally, following my own award last year for Rail Campaigner of the Year Award last year has been followed up for the current year with Joint Silver for Best Campaigner. It is an absolute honour to win so many awards, reflecting the hard work of the committee, and special thanks to our Newsletter editor Dave Shaw for his joint Gold.
