Great to have a catch up with Northern today and to meet the new Regional Director Jason Wade, along with our regular contact Matt Croasdale. I gave Jason a brief introduction to SENRUG and explained we are a pro-rail campaign group, not simply a Rail User Group, not primarily a Station adoption group (though we do that as well) or a Community Rail Partnership. It was a very useful and constructive meeting and we’ve agreed to meet again in June to take a closer look at some of the current issues for Northern that SENRUG has on the table.
